IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is the world’s proven English language test which is accepted by over 12,000 organisations worldwide. It is a standardized test designed to assess the language ability of candidates. Ways to Take IELTS test
IELTS on Paper
Candidates give the exam in offical IELTS center with question papers and answer sheets for the Listening, Reading and Writing tests. Participant write their answers to the answer sheet. Speaking test is delivered face to face to a trained IELTS speaking examiner.
IELTS on Computer
Candidates visit the official IELTS test center with Reading, Writing and Listening tests are presented on the screen. They use a keyword and mouse to submit their answers. Speaking test is delivered face to face to a training IELTS Speaking Examiner.
IELTS test duration is of 2 hours and 45 minute. It will include Reading, Writing and Listening module. Speaking module will be conducted separately and it will be a one to one conversation with an expert 7 days prior or after the test including the exam date itself. Listening and Speaking modules test are same for Academic and General Training students. However, Reading and Writing tasks are different for the Academic and General students.
